The communities across the Montgomerey County Area support the men and women of our Armed Forces. Plymouth Fire Company helps to raise awareness when one of the men or women in our local area has come home from activce duty. In this little way Plymouth Fire Company thanks these home town heroes for all they do.
Each year, Santa takes time out of his busy schedule up north to come ride along with the members of Plymouth Fire Company and visit the children of Plymouth Township. Please come back as the holidays draw near to see when his arrival will be!
Operation Christmas Kids
Operation Christmas Kids Run will be taking place sometime in December. If anyone has donations, there is a table set up in the back of the engine room for dropped off from 7am-3pm at the fire house. Plymouth Fire Company will be teaming up with Plymouth Community Ambulance to drop off toys at local hospitals.
National Night Out
The introduction of National Night Out, “America’s Night Out Against Crime”, in 1984 began an effort to promote involvement in crime prevention activities, police-community partnerships, neighborhood camaraderie and send a message to criminals letting them know that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back. NATW’s National Night Out program culminates annually, on the first Tuesday in August.
National Night Out will be held in August.
Local Car Seat Checks
The Kohl's Injury Prevention Program partners with the Safe Kids Buckle Up Program and Safe Kids Southeastern Pennsylvania Coalition to provide car seat inspections and teach parents how to properly install child safety seats.
During a child safety seat check, child passenger safety technicians will teach you how to correctly transport your children and to make sure that everyone in a vehicle is buckled up on every ride. This is an educational service, not an installation service. Through this hands-on opportunity, you will learn how to properly secure your children in their child safety seats. Car seat inspection events are free of charge. All parents and caregivers of young children are encouraged to attend.
Plymouth Fire Company Host These Events on:
1323 Colwell Lane, Conshohocken, PA
2nd and 4th Wednesday of every month, 5 p.m. – 8 p.m.
