Passenger vehicle heading Southbound was struck head on by an SUV heading North in the Southbound lane. Both vehicles found upright.  Both vehicles with heavy left side front end and driver’s door damage.  Vehicle #2's engine was displaced at impact and came to rest along guardrail of center median.

R43 in service with Hurst tools to remove doors. Assisted EMS with removal and packaging.  Helicopter landing zone set up on highway for air transport of one. 

Crews stood by for State investigators.  Provided lighting and L43 in service to provide for aerial photography.
