2009 Pierce Arrow XT |
| Engine 43 is a 2009 Pierce Arrow XT
class A pumper with seating for 8 firefighters. It is
equipped with a Cummins ISL 425 horse power motor and a 1500
gpm Hale pump with a 750 gallon water tank. The engine also
features a Harrison 10Kw generator and Control Zone™, TAK-4®
independent front suspension, Command Zone™.

| Production of our new 2009 Pierce Arrow XT Engine is
coming along over at the plant in Appleton Wisconsin.
Members of the apparatus committee are scheduled to make the
trip out to Appleton in the coming weeks for the final
inspection of the new rig. Delivery is still expected to be
sometime in late July. |
